Okay, so I want some other verdicts on this. Conditions: Sasuke: Sasuke is at the same level of power as he is currently in the Naruto Manga. Sasuke can only use his sword + Taijutsu, he is allowed to channel chidori into his sword. Sasuke is allowed to use his basic sharingan. Trunks: Trunks cannot go Super Saiyan. Trunks may only use his sword and basic Melee Trunks' power is restricted, he cannot hit hard enough to send Sasuke flying. Trunks is allowed to use flight and his full speed. Yoh: Yoh is allowed to use all of his abilities with no restrictions, however he is not allowed to use any of his series-finale spirit abilities. Yoh is allowed to use his spirit form:Unity to strengthen his attacks and defense. Yoh is able to use all his swords, and use his spirit transformation on all of them. So, in a battle of pure swordsmanship, who would be the victor? I'd say it's a pretty difficult to choose, if You do not know something about the combat of each individual, feel free to look them up, Yoh will likely be the most obscure. Personally, based on the conditions, I believe either Sasuke or Yoh would win. Trunks, while efficient with his blade, did not use it very often and usually combined it with energy attacks anyway. It is very possible that he could do well in the battle, however when it comes down to it, vs Sasuke's sharingan and Yoh's spirit form I don't think he could win in pure swordsmanship. I believe Yoh could have a chance because of the benefits of using his spirit form, this would give him a raised sense of awareness, almost on par with Sasuke's sharingan. I also gave him almost all of his abilities as compared to the other two, without his ranged or energy attacks such as Celestial Slash he would be obliterated in moments. And finally, with Sasuke, I believe that considering almost all of his melee combat in Shippuden involved his sword, that he could possess the most experience with a sword, combined with his ability to channel Chidori could result in easily breaking through defenses. I had considered not allowing him the sharingan, however I think it is a fair addition in comparison to Trunks' incredible speed and Yoh's often unpredictable combat style. So, any other opinions? |

Sasuke survived a sword battle against someone who was using 8 swords at one time and had mastered his taijutsu. I say he easily wins if we're just going sword battle. |

He only survived because of Jugo, Killer Bee's sword style was too much for his sharingan to follow and many times he wound up getting injured, Killer Bee does not have the strength or speed of Trunks, and Yoh, well, Yoh is just something You'll have to decide for Yourself. |

In still think he wins. Bee had to go Bijuu mode in the battle so Sasuke was doing something right.

Id say its between Yoh and Sasuke. Trunks is hardly a master swordsman he's just a dude who found a sword and decided to use it. Sasuke and Yoh on the other hand have been trained to use swords. I'd give it to Yoh due to him mostly/entirely being a swordsman but it would be a long fight because of the Sharingan. |

Only because Sasuke used a few jutsu, Killer Bee had Sasuke on the ropes the entire time, he was quite literally just playing with him, neither even won that battle because Killer Bee just faked his capture and went on happily. Considering this is sword combat, and Sasuke only really dodged the entire time and only went on the offensive with chidori spear and amaterasu, then no. Also, against Trunks and Yoh, I imagine the fight would be more balanced. EDIT: I had considered that Steve, which is why I allowed Trunks his strength and speed, even though he is in no way a master, he makes up for it with far superior strength and his ability to fly. Even Bee complimented Sasuke on his swordsmanship and taijutsu. He said he was able to dodge all of his attacks when it comes to vital areas and the first person to ever dodge his bijuu mode's speed. Bee was superior for sure, but I can't help but think you're underestimating Sasuke a lot (not to mention he's currently >>>>> from when he fought Bee). |

Puh-lease, it's a widely known but never officially stated fact that I'm a Sasuke fanboy ![]() Regardless, at the time he still got slaughtered, and only survived because of his comrades, who he later abandoned anyway. And yes, he is much better now than he was then, however he has not progressed his swordsman skills in that time, we saw some stuff at the kage summit but afterward the most we have really seen Sasuke do with it is slice one Zetsu in half while he was being suspended infront of him. Itachi has shown more use of Sasuke's sword than Sasuke since the end of the kage summit, and considering this is a sword battle, that doesn't help Sasuke's case greatly, however he does have the sharingan and can channel Chidori, which gives him even ground, however I am not conviced he could stomp, or even so much as easily defeat, either of his opponents here. Considering Yoh, who centers absolutely all his power in sword combat, and Trunks, who has the strength and speed to make up for his amateur swordsmanship, are up against him, while he could win, it is a 1 in 3 chance. |

If he can channel chidori there is nothing stopping him from simply destroying the other people's sword as a note. Will stop replying but I still think you're underestimating him. |

I am aware he could do that, however Yoh has a spirit sword which I doubt can be severed, definitely not by a physical object, while Trunks....Well, fair enough, Trunks would be beaten easily, but considering he can easily fly circles around Sasuke, I imagine it would be rather difficult. |

trunks' sword is of a high enough quality to cut through frieza. raditz is fast enough to track and catch bullets, and trunks is definitely faster than raditz. I honestly doubt either of the other two are fast enough to catch trunks, or strong enough to injure him even if they could catch him. we are talking about someone capable of supersonic flight, here. |

list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god | |

You'd need to restrict Trunks from using ki of any sort to make this fair. He'd be way too fast and too durable to get hurt here otherwise. |

OP says Trunks can only use sword and taijutsu. Full speed will be a problem obviously, didn't notice that. |

Trunks wins comfortably. It wouldn't be a contest. Ruling out Trunks I'd say Sasuke > Yoh |

Yea, feel dumb for not noticing the full speed thing.. Still say in swordsmanship though Sasuke would win with equal everything. |
